Rugs

Wool Rugs - Use a dull instrument to scrape off food and debris. Vacuum in low power mode or with the beater turned off. Avoid using water or other liquids, as it may discolor the rug. If cleaning is necessary, contact a professional cleaner.

Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry sponge or cloth. Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability. For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.

FABRIC & UPHOLSTERY CARE

We recommend a professional cleaning service. Do not soak or saturate the material. Routine vacuuming or light brushing is recommended. Test any fabric cleaner in an inconspicuous location. Pilling is natural, remove with a lint or fabric shaver. Always blot, do not rub.

Handwash

Wash your garment with cold water, to avoid damage, use a mild soap. Wash the garment without rubbing to remove any dirt. If you want to keep the color and quality of your garment, avoid both the use of the washer and any bleach products. Although you may use delicate/wool regime of your washing machine.

Drying

To avoid deforming, crumpling, or wrinkling your garment, never kink or squeeze. It’s suggested not to use the clothes dryer, keep from direct sunlight, and dry in the shade to preserve the original color. Spread on a flat surface and hang it on a hanger in order to preserve its original form.

Ironing

Alpaca wool is a very sensitive fiber and ironing should be avoided. If necessary, use a towel over the garment to iron at low temperature. It's suggested to use clothes steamer.

Dry-dust or vacuum regularly. Avoid direct sunlight. Immediately tend to spills. Blot with a dry, clean cloth. Do not saturate.
